Every Researcher Counts!

Four years of hard work on equality and diversity in research, excellent results! “Every Researcher Counts aims to change culture and practice and build capacity within HEI’s by embedding equality and diversity within the normal business of employing researchers and supporting their career development.” Examples of Every Researcher Counts resources:

  • Actions for All – a reflection on all our activities to encourage PIs and researcher leaders with key strategies to address diversity across the nine protected characteristics. The Actions for All publication is publicly available from our website
  • Conference archive of presentations by leaders/ experts in E&D 
  • New Vitae website section including revamped Premia resources to support disabled researchers including case studies and advice for both disabled researchers and their supervisors
  • Every Researcher Counts Stakeholder briefings on equality and diversity

  • Four suites of interactive session materials for principal investigators, based around real scenarios
